For Employers with 5+ Employees

The newest healthcare plan in the LewerWorks portfolio is Lewer ValueMed, an affordable limited medical indemnity plan specially designed for group sizes of 5 or more.

The ValueMed plan features three benefit plan levels to fit the employers' needs and the makeup of its workforce. It gives business owners a unique new product to offer employees in environments where more expensive traditional major medical plans are not feasible.

Lewer ValueMed plans offer businesses flexible and affordable protection for employees and their families for hospital and surgical expenses. The plans were designed to meet the specific needs of growing businesses in all industries.

Several key benefits are included:

  • An outpatient physician’s office benefit allows up to 6 visits per person, per year.
  • A unique wellness benefit, which includes routine physical exams, mammograms and immunizations for children up to age 6.
  • Includes coverage for outpatient prescription drugs.
  • The combined limited medical benefit maximum is $100,000 per person, per calendar year.
  • Guaranteed issue subject to pre-existing conditions (to all groups less than 25 enrolled employees, unless state exception).
All ValueMed Plans require 25% employer contribution and a minimum group size of 5 enrolled lives for groups 5-50 and 10 enrolled lives for groups 51+.
